In accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD), we explain how we handle your personal data.

2. What data we process

Only the data you give us by email or by phone: your name, production company and role (if provided), email address, phone number and information about your project or shoot, including any files you attach. Please do not include especially sensitive data.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

• To reply to your enquiries and quote requests. Legal basis: your consent, given when you write to or call us (art. 6.1.a GDPR), and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• To manage our professional relationship if we end up working together on a production. Legal basis: performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR) and compliance with legal obligations, such as tax obligations (art. 6.1.c GDPR).

We do not use your data to send you advertising, and we do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.

4. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to reply and, at most, one year after the last contact if no collaboration follows. If we do work together, we keep it for the duration of the relationship and then for the periods required by law.

5. Who we share it with

We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law. Providers who give us technical support, such as web hosting and email services, may access it as data processors under the safeguards required by the GDPR.

6. Visitor statistics

To understand general use of the website we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, provided by Cloudflare, Inc. This tool does not place cookies or build visitor profiles: it technically processes connection data (such as IP address and browser type) solely to produce aggregated, anonymous statistics. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the website performs (art. 6.1.f GDPR). Cloudflare may process this data outside the European Economic Area; it is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures an adequate level of protection. The website and its fonts are also served through Cloudflare and Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.), which technically process the visitor’s IP address in order to display the page.

7. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw your consent, at any time by writing to info@malpartidaproductions.com and stating which right you wish to exercise. If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access or misuse.

9. Minors

This website is aimed at audiovisual industry professionals. If you are under 14, please do not send us your personal data.
